YouTube has recently updated its anti-harassment policy. It now includes implied threats, based on gender, sexual orientation, person’s race. This policy is now suitable for all the creators on YouTube.

Matt Halprin – vice president of YouTube announced this statement in a blog post. This update also includes prohibited content that simulates violence towards another person. This policy also includes blocking of video which maliciously insults other persons.

If a creator continues to violate its harassment policy, then he or she will be suspended by the YouTube partner program. This will probably suspend the creator’s ability to make money on YouTube. Harassment policy update is also applicable to YouTube’s comment section. Since August, YouTube has removed more than 30,000 videos that contain hate speech content.

Also, YouTube has changed how it collects data on kid channels and how it advertises on them.
